I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your support through the Curvelo-UPAAW Scholarship. I am sincerely honored to have been selected as one of the recipients of the grant. Receiving the financial assistance will help me in procuring books I need for my undergraduate thesis, and at the same time fund my other requirements for this academic year.
Being granted this scholarship means a lot to a literature student like me given the fact that there are fewer scholarships given to students in the humanities. Also, I personally think that the grant as being widely inclusive will encourage other students in fields similar to mine.
I will continue to work hard in order to show my appreciation of the kindness of Dr. Curvelo and the UPAAW. Again, thank you for supporting students from the University of the Philippines – your generosity truly makes a difference!
