CY 2025 1st Board Meeting Held

On January 11, 2025 at 1 pm, President Ito Conti presided over the UPAA-W Annual Board Meeting, which was held at the Philippine Center in Greenfield, Wisconsin.  The meeting, which was duly recorded by Trina, was attended by the following officers, directors and members:

• Ike Pahm – Director, 2023 – 2025
• Lucy Sloan – Director, 2023 – 2025
• Roselle Rogers – Director, 2023 – 2025
• Dr. Jose Abad Santos – Director, 2024 – 2026
• Dr. Violeta Singson – Director, 2024 – 2026
• Rebecca Toledo – Director, 2024 – 2026
• Beaver Flores – Director, 2025 – 2027
• Trina Bando – Director, 2025 – 2027
• Gerry Ramos
• Deanna Cruz
• Dr. Carol Conti

During the meeting, Ito introduced Beaver, Trina and Erick as the new board members.  He congratulated Lyn Hamilton for a very successful term as President in 2024.  He also thanked Lyn, Karl and Cream for serving as directors from 2022 – 2024. 

Fe presented the Treasurer’s Report, and the Chairs of the Standing Committees gave a report on their current activities.  Beaver was then elected as the President-elect for 2026.

The board approved the appointments of the Officers, and Chairs and Members of the Standing Committees, and finalized the schedule of activities for 2025 which are as follows:

• Feed the Hungry – Sunday, April 6, 2025 at 11:15 am (Serve only), Sunday, August 10, 2025 at 11:15 am (serve only), and Sunday, October 26, 2025 at 11:15 am (cook and serve)
• Picnic at the Philippine Center – Saturday, July 19, 2025 at noon
• Barrio Fiesta – Saturday, June 21, 2025 at noon
• PCCCF Fiesta Filipiniana 25^th Anniversary Gala –  June 14, 2025
• Christmas Party at the Philippine Center – Sunday, December 7, 2025

The next board meetings are scheduled as follows:

• March 8, 2025, hosted by Ike Pahm and Joey Abad Santos at the Philippine Center
• June 21, 2025, Barrio Fiesta, hosted by Joey Abad Santos
• October 25, 2025, hosted by Becky Toledo and Dr. Singson at the Philippine Center
