We are honored to announce that the University of the Philippines Alumni Association of Wisconsin (UPAA-W) has been selected as a recipient of the 2025–2026 UPAAA Outstanding UP Alumni Group Award. This prestigious recognition, conferred by the UP Alumni Association in America (UPAAA), celebrates our organization’s exceptional service, leadership, and positive impact on our members, communities, and our beloved alma mater.
The award will be formally presented during the Alumni Awards and Gala Night on Saturday, October 18, 2025, as part of the UPAAA 23rd Biennial Grand Reunion and Convention (GRC) to be held at the Westin Galleria, Houston, Texas from October 17–18, 2025.
Founded in New Jersey, the UPAAA was established to unite UP alumni associations across America and to uphold the University of the Philippines System as a national center for academic excellence, freedom, and service.
This marks the second time UPAA-W has received this distinguished award. Our first recognition was in Iselin, New Jersey on October 28, 2017, during the presidency of Dr. Karl Canseco.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Ike and Fe for their unwavering dedication and support throughout the application process. We also thank our past and present directors, officers, and members—your contributions over the past 50 years have made this achievement possible.
Congratulations, UPAA-W! Here’s to continuing our legacy of excellence and service.
