As part of a cherished annual tradition, the Friends of the UPAA-W proudly sponsored the first night of Simbang Gabi on December 15, 2025, held at St. John Neumann Church (Corpus Christi Parish) in Waukesha, WI. This beloved Filipino Catholic devotion brought together the community in faith, fellowship, and cultural pride.
This year’s celebration was particularly meaningful as Milwaukee Archbishop Emeritus Jerome Listecki concelebrated the Mass alongside Fr. Pat Heppe and Fr. Jojo Orosa, adding a special grace to the occasion. Their presence underscored the enduring significance of Simbang Gabi as a spiritual preparation for Christmas.

Following the Mass, parishioners gathered at Neumann Hall for a warm and lively fellowship. Guests enjoyed a sumptuous spread of traditional Filipino dishes, including pancit palabok, menudo, vegetable lumpia, empanada, and banana que—a true taste of home that delighted everyone.

The event drew 206 parishioners, a testament to the strong sense of community and the bayanihan spirit that defines the Friends of UPAA-W. Through faith, food, and friendship, this gathering was not only a success but also a beautiful reminder of the values that unite us during the Advent season.
A heartfelt thank you to our generous sponsors, dedicated volunteers, and everyone who contributed their time and resources to make this celebration possible. Your support and commitment embody the true spirit of Simbang Gabi and strengthen the bonds within our community.
