In recognition of his academic excellence, he received the Madison Rotary Youth Club Senior Academic Achievement Award. He completed a rigorous curriculum that included multiple Advanced Placement (AP) courses and achieved an impressive ACT score of 32.

During high school, Christopher was actively involved in several extracurricular organizations, including the Madison East Engineering Club, SkillsUSA Club, and the East High School Wrestling Team. His achievements include the George Martin Award (2022–2023), SkillsUSA Wisconsin Team Engineering Bronze Medal (2023), and the Wisconsin Seal of Biliteracy in Spanish.

Christopher also gained valuable professional experience through summer internships at Oak Park Place, Sector67 Community Makerspace, and MCANTA, demonstrating a strong work ethic and early commitment to hands‑on learning.

He is currently enrolled in the College of Letters & Science at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Christopher plans to pursue a degree in Electrical Engineering, followed by a master’s degree in a related specialization, with long‑term goals centered on innovation and technical leadership.

In expressing his gratitude for the scholarship, Christopher shared the following message:

“It means so much to me that organizations like UPAA‑W see my effort and trust me enough to invest in my future. It’s because of people and organizations like yours that I am able to go to college in the first place—and debt free at that. While I cannot say with certainty how my future will turn out, I can assure you that you won’t regret awarding me this scholarship. So many people have helped me pursue my higher education, and I’ll try my best to pay it forward.”

The UPAA‑W Guansing‑Regala Scholarship Award is a competitive, one‑time scholarship given annually to a graduating high school senior of Filipino parentage from Wisconsin, based on academic merit and demonstrated financial need.
